The Girls Home has locations in Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
The Girls Home in Costa Rica, is run by the Madre Albertina nuns, currently provides assistance to thirty girls from primarily migrant families fleeing Nicaragua and Venezuela and are currently living in hazardous and challenging circumstances.
There is a dangerous gang culture in Costa Rica, and The Girls Home offers basic food items, school supplies, homework help, playtime, and classes on positive discipline for parents.
The Girls Home independently still supports 10 university students in Nicaragua, enabling them to continue their studies to completion. The Girls Home as it stood before, is not in action, due to the country’s new policies. We hope one day to reopen.
